Seems like every year they have this Masters golf thing. It is in April. That’s what they say. Lots of fellas swingin’ them clubs, tryin’ to get that little ball in the hole. I reckon it ain’t as easy as it looks. They walk all over them green fields.
They say last year, in that 2023 Masters, there was a whole heap of them pars. How many? Well, now, I heard it was three thousand and twenty-nine. 3,029! Can you believe that? 3,029 total pars in the 2023 Masters. That’s a lot of anythin’, if you ask me.
The Players in the Masters
Now, them players, they come from all over, I reckon. They say there was somethin’ like 93 of ’em playin’ last year. That is a lot of players in 2023 Masters. 93 players. Each one tryin’ to hit that little white ball. Must take a lot of practice to get good at that.

They talk about some holes bein’ easier than others. Somethin’ about par 5s? I don’t know what that means, but they say them’s the easiest ones. I guess if you’re a good player, you want to do good on them par 5s.
I reckon them players, they study them golf courses. They figure out where to hit the ball, how hard to hit it. It’s all a big mystery to me, but I guess it makes sense to them. They play this game for four days. Four days for the total pars in the 2023 Masters.
That’s a Lot of Pars
So, yeah, that 2023 Masters, it had a whole bunch of pars. 3,029, they say. That’s more pars than I’ve seen in my whole life, I reckon. That’s a big number. You can say that again. It is a big number of total pars.
