Okay, so, let’s talk about this crazy boss fight I had in Black Myth: Wukong. This game, man, it’s a trip. You play as this monkey dude, they call him the Destined One. And the final boss? This huge Stone Monkey. It is tough and the final boss is divided into 4 phases with two forms.
First, I went into this fight blind. I figured, “Hey, I’m good at games, I’ll figure it out.” Big mistake. This Stone Monkey, he’s a bigger version of the character I’ve been playing, and he’s got some seriously messed up moves. He jumps around, slams the ground, and basically just wrecks you if you’re not careful. I died. A lot.
Then, I started paying attention. I watched his moves, looked for patterns. It took some time, but I started to see how he telegraphs his attacks. Like, before he does this big ground slam, he raises his fist in a specific way. So, I learned to dodge that.
- Phase 1: Just when I thought I had him, he transforms into what is called Great Sage’s Broken Shell.
- Phase 2: He starts using his staff, which extends his reach and makes him even harder to dodge. This was the hardest part for me.
- Phase 3: There were also these moments where he would summon stone pillars from the ground. I had to avoid those while also trying to get hits in.
- Phase 4: When I finally started to get his health down, he got faster, more aggressive. It was a real test of everything I had learned up to that point.
Finally, I spent hours on this boss fight. Hours. But I kept at it. I learned his moves, I found openings, and I slowly but surely chipped away at his health. And you know what? I beat him. The feeling was incredible. I practically jumped out of my chair. The 4 phases were a real challenge.
So, yeah, that’s my story of beating the Stone Monkey and Great Sage’s Broken Shell in Black Myth: Wukong. It was tough, frustrating, but ultimately, so rewarding. If you’re struggling with this boss, my advice is to keep at it, learn the patterns, and don’t give up. You got this!
