Okay, so today I tried out the Genshin 4.8 Abyss, and it was a real pain in the butt.
I jumped in, and man, it was rough from the start. I tried a couple of different teams, but nothing seemed to work right. My first team got absolutely wrecked, and I thought, “Alright, let’s switch it up.” I formed a second team, thinking I could do better, but nope, same problem.
- I started with my go-to team.
- Got smashed, so I picked a new one.
- Still got smashed.
Then I remembered something I saw online. It mentioned that if you start a chamber with empty bursts, you’re kinda screwed. So, I made sure all my characters had their bursts ready. I thought that would be the key.
I started the chamber again, bursts all charged up. I tried to follow this strategy I found: use Arlecchino’s E to put Pyro on the enemies, then use Emilie’s E to apply Dendro and get that Burning reaction going, and finally, use Kazuha’s E and Q to group the enemies together. Sounds simple, right?
Well, it wasn’t. My Arlecchino would throw out her E, but sometimes the enemies just wouldn’t group up properly. Then Emilie’s E would sometimes miss, and the Burning reaction wouldn’t even happen. And Kazuha, bless his heart, tried his best to swirl everyone together, but it was just a mess.
Rinse and Repeat
I kept trying, kept failing, and kept tweaking my approach. I switched up the order, tried different rotations, but nothing was consistent. I spent hours on this, and it just felt like I was banging my head against a wall.
Finally, after what felt like forever, I started to get a bit of a rhythm going. I learned to time things a bit better, and I started to anticipate the enemies’ movements more. Slowly but surely, I started clearing chambers, one by one.
It wasn’t pretty, and it definitely wasn’t smooth, but I eventually managed to clear the whole thing. By the end, I was exhausted, but hey, at least I got it done. It’s not the most satisfying win, but a win’s a win, I guess.
So, that’s my story of tackling the Genshin 4.8 Abyss. It was a struggle, but I pushed through. If you’re planning to try it, just be prepared for a tough time and don’t be afraid to experiment and adjust your strategy on the fly. And make sure those bursts are charged!
