Okay, so, I set out to do this whole NFL mock draft thing. It sounded kinda fun, right? So I started looking around, trying to figure out how this whole thing works.
First, I checked out some other mock drafts. I found a bunch of them online, from different people. Some of them even had trades, which I thought was pretty cool. I didn’t really know how to do that, but I figured I could maybe look at those later.
Then, I stumbled upon this thing called a “big board.” It had all these players and their stats, and grades, and all that stuff. I started looking through it, trying to understand who these players were and what positions they played. It was a lot of information to take in, but I tried to make notes of the guys who seemed to be the best.
- Looked up some other mock drafts to get an idea of how they work.
- Found this “big board” thing with all the player stats and grades.
- Started trying to make sense of all the players and positions.
I also read something about conference championship games, bowls, and some kind of 12-team playoff. I’m not really sure how all that stuff works, but it seemed like it was important for figuring out the draft order. I tried to keep that in mind as I was looking at the players.
The whole thing was a bit overwhelming, to be honest. There’s just so much information out there, and so many players to keep track of. Also the Draft buzz thing, I had to learn it from scratch. But I tried to do my best to follow the real draft order and pick players that seemed like they would be good fits for each team.
My First Mock Draft Attempt
I ended up making a list of players for each team, based on what I had read and what I thought made sense. It’s probably not perfect, but I think it’s a decent start. And I learned a lot in the process, so that’s something, right?
I might try doing this again sometime, now that I have a better idea of how it all works. Maybe I’ll even try to figure out those trades that some of the other mock drafts had. Who knows?
Anyway, that’s my story of trying to do an NFL mock draft. It was a bit of a challenge, but it was also kinda fun. Maybe I’ll become an expert one day, but for now, I’m just happy I gave it a shot.
