Alright, guys, so I’ve been seeing this Cody Rhodes finger tattoo trend pop up, and you know me, I gotta try things out myself. I’m no tattoo artist, but I figured, how hard could it be to temporarily recreate it? Spoiler alert: it’s trickier than it looks, but still fun!

Getting Started
First, I gathered my “supplies.” No fancy tattoo guns here! I opted for a simple, fine-tipped, non-toxic marker. I also pulled up a bunch of pictures of Cody’s actual finger tattoo online. Gotta have a reference, right?
- Fine-tipped, non-toxic black marker
- Reference photos of Cody’s tattoo.
- Rubbing Alcohol.
- Cotton Swab.
The “Tattooing” Process
I cleaned off the skin on my fingers.
Next, I started *, this is where things got interesting. I attempted to copy the design. My hands were a little shaky, and it’s surprisingly hard to draw a straight line on a curved, tiny surface like a finger!
It definitely didn’t look perfect on the first try. Or the second. Or the third. I used Rubbing Alcohol with a cotton swab to wipe off my mistakes and start over a few times. Persistence is key, my friends!
The Final Result (Sort Of)
After many tries, I finally got something that looked somewhat like Cody’s tattoo. It wasn’t perfect, of course, but it was good enough for a temporary, just-for-fun experiment. It’s definitely more of a “vibe” than an exact replica.

I flexed my newly “inked” fingers. I showed the tattoo on my hand.
If you’re looking for a quick, non-permanent way to show your Cody Rhodes fandom, this marker method is a fun little project. Just don’t expect professional-level results, and have some patience (and maybe some rubbing alcohol on hand)!
