Okay, so I wanted to dig into Lexi Thompson’s driving average. I’ve always been impressed by her power off the tee, and I figured it’d be cool to see how she stacks up.
First, I tried to remember where I usually find player stats. I thought, “Hmm, maybe the official LPGA website?” That seemed like a good starting point.
So, I opened up my browser and typed in the LPGA website address. Once I got there, I looked around for a “Stats” section. Usually, those are pretty easy to spot, you know, like in a main menu or something.
I found the stats page, and it had all sorts of categories. I was looking for “Driving Distance” or “Driving Average,” something along those lines.
Once I found the driving stats section, I needed to find Lexi Thompson’s name. It was probably going to be a long list, so I used the “Find on Page” feature on my browser. I’m all about working smarter, not harder, haha!
I typed in “Thompson,” and bingo! There she was. I saw her average driving distance right there next to her name.
I wrote down that * gave her average for the current year, which was really what I was after. To get a better overview, I checked out a couple of previous years’ stats too, just to get a sense of her consistency over time.
