Alright, so, butch reed john nord, huh? Sounds like a wrestling tag team from the 80s, but nah, it’s what I messed with today. Let me walk you through it.

First off, I needed to figure out where to even start. I knew I had some data that needed… something. It was a mess, plain and simple. Think Excel spreadsheet vomited all over my screen. So, the very first thing I did was clean it up. Seriously, this part is always the most tedious. Got rid of extra spaces, corrected typos… you know, the usual garbage.
Next up, was trying to figure out what these two were all about. Butch Reed, as some of you may know, was a wrestler. I had to sort all of the data from him first, and see how much of it to include for this project.
John Nord, also a wrestler. I then separated all of the data about him and added it to the project. I wanted to see if the two wrestlers could be put into some kind of project together using a specific set of criteria.
After the data had been sorted and included into the project I wanted to begin, I opened the project and started adding it. The beginning of this project was like trying to herd cats! I was constantly second-guessing myself, moving things around, and generally feeling like I was making zero progress.
After a few hours of struggling, I decided to take a break and clear my head. Sometimes you just need to step away for a bit.

Came back after lunch, and things started to click. I realized I was overthinking it. I simplified my approach, focusing on the core goals I had set for the project and ignoring all the fancy bells and whistles.
From that point on, it was just a matter of grinding it out. I wrote code, tested it, debugged it, rewrote it… rinse and repeat. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was effective.
Finally, after a long day, I had something that actually worked. It wasn’t perfect, mind you. There are still a few rough edges I want to smooth out. But hey, it’s a start. It’s better than where I was this morning, that’s for sure.
So, yeah, that’s my “butch reed john nord” experience. A messy start, a mid-day slump, and a (sort of) satisfying ending. Just another day in the life, I guess.
