Okay, so, here’s the deal. I was messing around with Borderlands 2 again the other day, right? Been a while since I properly dove into it, but the itch came back. And you know what that means – time for some sweet, sweet loot.

First thing I did, of course, was fire up the game. Vault Hunter all the way! But then I remembered: shift codes! Man, those things are like free keys to the kingdom, or at least, to a chest full of purples.
So I went straight to the source: the Gearbox Twitter account. They usually post codes there, or sometimes you can find them on the Borderlands subreddit. It’s a bit of a hunt, sometimes.
I copied down a bunch of active codes I found. You gotta be quick with these things, because they expire. Make sure to double check they’re still valid before you even bother trying to redeem them!
After getting the codes, I jump back into the game, went into the main menu, and found the “Shift Codes” option. Entered all the codes in there, one by one. It’s a bit tedious, I won’t lie. A copy-paste function would be a godsend, but hey, what can you do?
Once all the codes were redeemed (and hopefully none of them were duds), it’s time to head to Sanctuary. Fast traveled there, and then ran over to the golden chest. Time to see what goodies awaited!

I got a couple of legendary weapons! Nothing game-breaking, but definitely a nice boost. Plus, some purple gear to sell for extra cash. Always a win!
Honestly, the whole process is pretty straightforward. Find the codes, enter them, grab your loot. The hardest part is just finding the working codes before they expire. Happy hunting!
