Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz about Adley Rutschman rookie cards lately, especially the 2023 ones. I figured, why not jump in and see what all the fuss is about? I mean, the guy’s supposed to be the next big thing, right?

First thing I did was hit up some online card shops. I wanted to get a feel for the different types of cards out there and, most importantly, the prices. I was kinda shocked, to be honest. Some of these cards were going for crazy money!
I spent a good few hours just browsing, comparing different cards. I definitely wasn’t going to rush into anything. I looked at base cards, parallel cards, inserts… it was a whole new world to me. There’s so much more to it than I initially thought.
After all that browsing, I narrowed it down to a few that I liked. I was mostly looking at Topps, since that’s a brand I recognized. I decided I wanted something a little more special than just a base card, so I was looking at some of the numbered parallels. You know, the ones that are a little rarer.
- Checked out different online card shops.
- Compared prices and card variations.
- Focused on Topps brand cards.
- Looked for numbered parallel cards for rarity.
I ended up finding a 2023 Topps Chrome Adley Rutschman rookie card, a blue refractor /150. I liked the look of it, and the price seemed reasonable compared to some of the others I saw. It felt like a good balance between getting something cool and not completely breaking the bank.
I placed the order and waited (im)patiently for it to arrive. It felt like forever! When it finally showed up, I was like a kid on Christmas morning. I carefully opened the package and there it was – my very own Adley Rutschman rookie card!

My New Card!
Honestly, it was pretty sweet. It had that nice, shiny finish, and the blue looked really sharp. I immediately put it in a protective sleeve and top loader. Gotta keep that thing safe!
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure into the world of Adley Rutschman rookie cards. It was fun, a little overwhelming at times, but definitely worth it. Now I just gotta figure out where to display it!
