Today, I want to talk about something that’s been on my mind lately – this whole Adin Loyals thing. For those who don’t know, I’m a big fan of online streaming and internet celebrities, but I’m also getting a bit tired of the whole community thing sometimes. It just turned into a mess, you know?
So, I started following this guy, Adin Ross. Seemed like a cool dude, streaming on Twitch, doing his thing. Then, bam, Twitch kicked him off. He got a permanent ban, just like that. I thought, “Oh well, what are we gonna do?”
Then he moved over to Kick. Now, I didn’t really know much about Kick, but hey, I followed him there. It felt good to follow him, until he suddenly said that he was leaving kick indefinitely. I was like, “What just happened?” But the story didn’t end there. Turns out, he’s got a stake in Kick – 30%, they say! And the word on the street is the guy’s loaded, like 100 million dollars loaded. Crazy, right?
But here’s where it gets interesting. I started digging around, trying to figure out how much this guy was making before Twitch said “bye-bye.” Turns out, just from Twitch subscriptions, he was pulling in over 60 grand a month. 60 grand! I couldn’t even imagine! I barely earn even $10,000 dollars a month. Then on Kick, he is still making a lot. They’re saying between 10,000 and 99 bucks a video. That’s a pretty wide range, but still, it’s something.
Anyway, back to this Adin Loyals community. I joined it, thinking it would be fun. You know, a place to chat with other fans, share clips, whatever. But honestly? It got kind of toxic. Drama, arguments, the usual internet stuff. I wasn’t really into that.
And then, guess what? Adin shut the whole thing down. He just closed up his fan community on X. I saw it coming, to be honest. But still, it’s kind of sad, you know? I mean, he’s got millions, and he’s still trying to make it work.
So, that’s my little adventure with Adin Loyals. It was a ride, I guess. I’m still following Adin, seeing what he’s up to. But I’m definitely keeping my distance from these fan communities from now on. It’s just not worth the headache.
Here’s what I learned from all this:
- Following streamers can be a wild ride.
- Money can come and go, even if you’re making bank.
- Online communities can be a great place to share common interests.
- But they can also be a total mess. Choose wisely!
That’s it for me today. Just wanted to share my thoughts on this whole Adin Loyals thing. Hope it was at least a little bit entertaining. Catch you guys later!
