Well, folks, if you’re a fan of college football, you’re probably already thinkin’ about the players in the big ol’ NCAA 25 game. But what about them top players who ain’t in the NCAA 25 rosters? I ain’t talkin’ about the ones you see every Saturday on TV, but them hidden gems that ain’t in the game for one reason or another. Y’all know what I mean, don’t ya? Sometimes, the best players ain’t always in the game, and that’s a real shame. I’m here to tell ya about a few of ’em who deserve to be in that game, but for whatever reason, they ain’t made the cut. So let’s talk about them players who should be in NCAA 25, but sadly ain’t. And we ain’t talkin’ about just any ol’ players—these here are the ones who coulda made a big difference in the game if they got their chance.
First up, we got some quarterbacks who really know how to sling that ball, but somehow ain’t in the game. Take for instance some of the guys who had standout seasons in college football but didn’t get the recognition they deserved. Players like Chase Garbers, who was a real workhorse for Cal and was often overlooked by the bigger schools. His style might not have been the flashiest, but he sure got the job done. Then there’s Tyler Van Dyke from Miami. He had a solid career, but guess what? EA didn’t add him into NCAA 25. Ain’t that somethin’?
Now, let’s talk about them big-time running backs that should’ve been in the game, too. I’m talkin’ about players like Deuce Vaughn from Kansas State. Now, don’t go laughin’ at me for talkin’ about a small guy, but you ain’t seen nothin’ till you’ve watched this fella run through defenses like they’re not even there. Yet, somehow, he got left out of the game. A real shame, I tell ya. Same goes for Bijan Robinson from Texas—this guy was a beast, and yet, his name don’t pop up in NCAA 25. What’s up with that?
And it ain’t just the quarterbacks and running backs who got the short end of the stick. Let’s talk about some of them wide receivers, too. You might be wonderin’ why Marvin Mims from Oklahoma didn’t make the cut. He had a mighty fine career and could catch passes like nobody’s business. Same for Jordan Addison who lit up the field for USC. Both of these fellas could’ve added a lot of flavor to the game, but they’re nowhere to be found.
Now, y’all know it ain’t just about the offense. Defense wins championships, right? So let’s give some love to them defensive players who got snubbed. Players like Isaiah Foskey from Notre Dame and Jalen Carter from Georgia. Both of these fellas were wrecking machines on the defensive line, but somehow they didn’t make it into NCAA 25. Ain’t that a kick in the head? You’d think EA would wanna include these guys, considering how much havoc they caused every Saturday.
Another reason some of these players ain’t in the game could be ’cause of eligibility rules. Sometimes, folks like Cam McCormick from Miami, who’s been granted a rare 9th year of eligibility, don’t make it onto the rosters because they ain’t technically college players anymore. But for folks who follow the sport closely, it’s a real miss, especially when these veterans still got game.
So, what’s the deal? Why are these great players not in NCAA 25? Well, I reckon it could be a bunch of things. Maybe it’s ‘cause of game development time, or maybe EA didn’t think they’d get enough attention from the players. But it sure don’t make much sense to me, especially when you consider the talent that’s being left out.
Now, don’t get me wrong. NCAA 25 still got some of the best players in the college football world. But them folks that didn’t make it, well, they sure could’ve added a whole lot to the game. If you ask me, they deserve a spot in the roster, no doubt about it.
It ain’t too late though! Hopefully, with future updates, EA will add some of these missing players, ‘cause we all know they’ve got the chops to take college football gaming to a whole new level. If you’re a fan of college football like I am, keep your fingers crossed. Maybe next time, some of these boys will make it into the game where they belong.
In the meantime, enjoy the game, and keep cheerin’ for your favorites—even if they ain’t in the NCAA 25 roster yet!
