This boy, Cam Cannarella, you know, he’s somethin’ else. He went off to that big Clemson University in 2023. Yeah, that’s right, 2023. He’s studyin’ somethin’ called Sports Communication. Sounds fancy, don’t it? I reckon he’s gonna be talkin’ ’bout sports on the radio or somethin’. He’s a good boy, that Cam.
Now, this Cam, he’s a real good baseball player. Last year, 2023, they say he was a “freshman” but he played like he’d been there for years. He hit that ball real good. .388, they say! I don’t know what all them numbers mean, but it sounds mighty impressive. He played in 59 games, hit a bunch of doubles, triples, and even seven homers! Seven! That Cam Cannarella, he’s strong as an ox, I tell ya.
They say he was a big deal even back in high school. Played for Hartsville High School. That’s where he’s from, you see, Hartsville. Tony Gainey, that was his coach. Good man, I hear. Taught Cam a lot, I reckon. Cam Cannarella dad must be real proud. This boy was always good at baseball. All them baseball games.
His mama, Holley, she’s a sweetheart. Don’t know much ’bout the rest of ’em. This is about Cam Cannarella dad, you remember that. But you gotta know where he comes from to know about the boy. Hartsville made him who he is, I reckon.
They got all these fancy lists, you know. Perfect Game, that’s what they call it. Said Cam was the No. 12 player in South Carolina. And the No. 4 shortstop! Shortstop, that’s a position in baseball, you know. He’s a natural, that Cam Cannarella. Just born to play ball, I suppose. This all makes Cam Cannarella dad really happy. Good for that man.

They even said he was the No. 477 freshman in the whole country! Can you believe that? 477! That’s a lot of young’uns playin’ baseball. And our Cam, he was right up there with the best of ’em. He’s a special one, that’s for sure. Always hitting that ball. Cam Cannarella dad raised him right, I guess.
He hit his first college home run last year. First one! I bet that was a day to remember. Probably called his mama right after, told her all about it. He always was a good boy to his mama. Good to his daddy, too. That’s important, you know. Family. That’s what matters. Good family makes a good boy. That’s what Cam Cannarella dad thinks, I bet.
This Sports Communication thing, I don’t rightly know what all it entails. But I reckon Cam will do just fine. He’s a smart boy. And he sure can talk. Maybe he’ll be one of them commentators, tellin’ everyone about the games. Wouldn’t that be somethin’? Cam Cannarella, on the television! I’d watch him. You know I would.
This boy, he’s gonna go places. You just wait and see. He’s got that spark, you know? That somethin’ special. And he works hard. That’s important. You gotta work hard if you wanna get anywhere in this life. Cam Cannarella dad taught him that for sure.
So, you keep an eye on this Cam Cannarella. He’s one to watch. He’s got a bright future ahead of him. Baseball, school, whatever he puts his mind to. He’ll do just fine. He will make Cam Cannarella dad proud, I am sure.
He plays for the Clemson Tigers, a good team. It is a good team, this team is good. Cam is a good player. He likes baseball. I like this boy Cam, hope he does well. He should listen to his dad, that is good.
Clemson is a good school, they say. I don’t know much ’bout it. I bet it is big. But Cam, he is smart. He plays baseball, he studies. He is a good boy.
He was good in high school. Now he is good in college. He keeps getting better. Cam Cannarella dad should be real proud. He is a good boy.
