Okay, so today I’m gonna share my experience figuring out Claire Kittle’s height. I know, it sounds kinda random, but trust me, there’s a reason I looked into it.
It all started last week when I was watching a 49ers game (go Niners!). Kittle was making some insane catches, and I was just thinking, “Man, that dude is a beast!” Then, the announcer mentioned something about his wife, Claire, and how she played basketball in college. That got me curious.
I mean, if she played college ball, she’s gotta be pretty tall, right? So, naturally, I went straight to Google. Typed in “claire kittle height” and boom, a bunch of results popped up. But here’s the thing – the numbers were all over the place! Some sites said she was 5’7″, others said 5’9″, and one even claimed she was 5’11”. What the heck?
I couldn’t just take the first answer I saw. That’s not how I roll. I decided to do a little digging. First, I checked out her Instagram. Looked for pictures with George Kittle. He’s listed as 6’4″, so if I could find a clear shot of them standing side-by-side, I could at least get a better estimate.
That actually worked pretty well! Found a few pics where they were standing next to each other. After some careful eyeballing (and maybe a little Photoshopping to draw lines and compare heights, don’t judge), I started leaning towards the 5’7″ or 5’8″ range. The 5’11” claim seemed way off.
Next, I went to the University of Iowa’s website, where she played basketball. Scoured the roster archives, hoping they listed player heights. Bingo! Found her profile – listed as 5’7″.

Alright, that pretty much confirmed it for me. I’m going with 5’7″. But just to be extra sure, I did one more thing. I searched for interviews with Claire Kittle. Sometimes they mention height or have visuals that give a better sense of her size.
Found an interview where she was sitting next to another woman who was clearly average height. Yep, 5’7″ still seemed right.
So, after all that detective work, I’m pretty confident in saying that Claire Kittle is around 5’7″. It was a fun little project, and honestly, it just goes to show you can’t always trust the first thing you read on the internet. Gotta do your own research!
The takeaway? Don’t believe everything you read. And also, Go Niners!
