Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get my hands on one of those Mets City Connect hats for a while now. You know, the ones with the special design that’s supposed to represent the city? Yeah, those. I finally decided to just go for it.
First, I looked around to see where I could even find these hats. It seemed like a bunch of places sold them, so I compared a few options. I noticed some were called “39THIRTY Flex” and others were “59FIFTY Fitted”. No idea what those meant, but I figured it had to do with the style or fit or something.
I ended up going with a 59FIFTY one because I liked the look of it better. It’s apparently part of some “Authentic Collection,” whatever that is. The description said it had a “performance poly design,” which I guess is a good thing? This one had a charcoal grey crown and visor, which I thought looked pretty slick.
After I placed my order, I waited like a week for it to arrive. Finally, the package showed up. I ripped that thing open, and there it was. It looked just as good in person as it did online.
- I tried it on, and it fit perfectly.
- I wore it around the house for a bit, just to get a feel for it.
- I even took a few selfies, because why not?
I’ve been wearing it out and about, and I gotta say, I’m pretty happy with it. It’s definitely a cool hat, and it’s nice to have something that shows off my Mets pride in a unique way. I might even check out the City Connect jerseys at some point.
So, yeah, that’s my little story about getting a Mets City Connect hat. If you’re a Mets fan, and you’re thinking about getting one, I’d say go for it. They’re pretty sweet. Just figure out which style you want first, I guess.
