Okay, so I was looking into the Denver Nuggets roster from 2017. I wanted to see who was on the team back then. It’s always fun to look back and remember some of these players.
First, I started to dig into the roster. There were some familiar names that jumped out.
The Core Players
- Nikola Jokic: Of course, even back then, Jokic was making waves. He was still developing into the superstar he is today, but his potential was clear.
- Gary Harris: A solid scorer and defender, Harris was a key piece of the team.
- Jamal Murray: Murray was a young guy showing a lot of promise as a scorer and playmaker. I remember being excited about his potential.
Other Notable Players
- Will Barton: A reliable veteran who could score and bring energy off the bench.
- Wilson Chandler: Another veteran presence, Chandler was a versatile forward.
- Kenneth Faried: Known as “The Manimal,” Faried was an athletic, high-energy player.
- Mason Plumlee: Acquired during the season, Plumlee was a solid backup center for Jokic.
- Emmanuel Mudiay: I remember some folks were still hoping Mudiay would turn into a star, but it didn’t quite work out that way.
I also checked out some of the other guys on the team. There were some interesting names that I had totally forgotten about, like:
- Darrell Arthur
- Jameer Nelson
- Juan Hernangomez
- Malik Beasley
I kept looking through the roster, and it was a real trip down memory lane. I remembered watching these guys play. It’s crazy how much a team can change in just a few years. Some of these players went on to have great careers, while others faded away.
Anyway, that was my little dive into the 2017 Denver Nuggets roster. It was cool to look back and remember these players and that era of Nuggets basketball. I spent a good chunk of time just browsing and reminiscing. Hope you enjoyed this little recap as much as I enjoyed putting it together!
