Alright, guys, so I’ve been diving deep into player props lately, and Derrick White has been popping up on my radar. So, I decided to put some skin in the game and track everything. Here’s how it went down.

The Initial Research
First, I started by just watching a bunch of Celtics games. I mean, really watching them, not just having them on in the background. I wanted to get a feel for how White was being used, his minutes, his role in the offense, everything.
Then, I dug into the stats. I looked at his recent game logs, his season averages, his performance against specific teams, you name it. I was basically swimming in numbers. I focused on his points, rebounds, assists, and even his three-pointers made.
Placing the Bets
After feeling pretty good about my research, I decided to start small. I didn’t want to go crazy right away. I placed a few bets on different prop bets – one on his points, one on his assists, and another on his combined points and rebounds.
- First bet: Points. I think it was over/under 12.5 points, and I took the over.
- Second bet: Assists. This one was something like over/under 4.5, and I went with the under.
- Third bet: Points + Rebounds. I can’t remember the exact number, but I felt confident he’d hit the over.
Tracking the Results
This is where the real work began. I didn’t just place the bets and forget about them. I watched the games, tracked his stats in real-time, and kept a detailed spreadsheet of everything.
It was a bit of a rollercoaster, to be honest. Some games, he’d explode, and I’d be feeling like a genius. Other games, he’d be quiet, and I’d be questioning my entire existence. But, that’s the nature of the beast, right?

The Outcome
After a few weeks of this, I started to see some patterns. I realized that certain matchups were better for him than others. I learned that his assist numbers were more volatile than I initially thought. And, most importantly, I started to get a better feel for when to bet the over and when to bet the under.
Overall I was profitable in betting Derrick White’s props. It was not very high but I am satisfied since I was just starting and testing the water.
It’s not a get-rich-quick scheme, but it’s been a fun and (so far) profitable little experiment. I’m definitely going to keep at it and refine my approach. I’ll keep you guys posted on how it goes!
