Well now, let me tell ya somethin’ ’bout them voices in this here game, Honkai: Star Rail. Ya see, it’s a game where folks run ’round and do all sorts of things, and each of them has a voice sayin’ things. Now, in this game, there’s a bunch of folks doin’ voices in different languages. Some of ’em are from Japan, others are from ’round here, the good ol’ English voices.
First off, let’s talk about the English voice actors. One of ’em is Andrew Russell, who voices a feller named Boothill. Now, Boothill, he ain’t the kind of fella you’d run into down at the local market, but his voice sure fits him. Andrew’s done a fine job bringin’ that character to life, I reckon.
Then there’s Roger Rose, who voices Sampo. Now, Sampo, he’s a bit of a trickster, always up to somethin’, and Roger’s voice sure makes you feel that. It’s got that mischievous tone to it, like a young’un up to no good.
Oh, and don’t forget ’bout the male Trailblazer’s voice actor, Caleb Yen. Caleb’s a newer voice actor, so he ain’t been around too long, but I reckon he done a good job. He voices the main feller in the game. In the Japanese version, it’s a fella named Junya Enoki takin’ up the Trailblazer’s voice. Ain’t it somethin’ how different voices can make the same character sound so different, dependin’ on where they’re comin’ from?
Now, movin’ on to the Japanese voice actors, we got some talented folks. One of ‘em is Nakahara Mai. She’s voiced some big characters before, like Seele Vollerei in another game, Honkai Impact 3rd. She’s got a real sweet sound to her voice, one of them voices you don’t forget easy.
Another one worth mentionin’ is Yu Shimamura. She’s the voice of Princess Zelda in them Legend of Zelda games. I hear tell she’s been doin’ it since the Skyward Sword days. Now that’s some history right there! I reckon if she’s been voicin’ Zelda all this time, she’s gotta be good at what she does.
Now, there’s some new folks joinin’ the cast too. A lady by the name of Jade has her own voice actress now. She was revealed through some fancy marketing campaign, and folks are mighty excited to hear what she sounds like. They say she’s a 5-star character, so I reckon she’s somethin’ special.
It ain’t just the folks doin’ the voices that’s makin’ waves, though. It’s all them characters they’re bringin’ to life. You got your fair share of heroes and villains, and each one’s got their own little voice that makes ’em stand out. It’s like a big ol’ pot of stew, with each voice actin’ like a different spice makin’ the whole thing taste just right.
And lemme tell ya, the Japanese voice cast ain’t just full of new faces. Some of ’em have been around the block a time or two, bringin’ their voices to characters in other games, too. Ain’t no doubt about it, the folks doin’ them voices sure know how to make a game feel real.
