Okay, so you wanna know about Edge and Lita, huh? Man, that was a wild ride back in the day. Let me tell you how I remember it, since I was totally following all the wrestling gossip back then.

It all started… like, seriously started… when they went public with it. Before that, it was all rumors and whispers, you know? People were saying they were seeing each other, but nothing confirmed. I remember thinking, “Nah, can’t be! Lita’s with Matt Hardy!” But then, BOOM! Edge drops the bombshell on live TV.
I remember watching Raw that night. Edge was cutting this promo, being all cocky and arrogant, as usual. And then he just straight up said it. He was like, “Yeah, I’m with Lita, so what?” The crowd went absolutely nuts! You could feel the shock through the screen. It was insane.
After that, it was a full-blown storyline. WWE milked that thing for all it was worth. They had Edge and Lita teaming up, being all lovey-dovey and evil together. They were like the power couple from hell! And Matt Hardy… man, they made him the ultimate sympathetic babyface. It was brutal.
The storyline was… intense. They had matches against Matt Hardy, of course. Those were always super heated. Edge and Lita would do anything to win. Low blows, interference, you name it. They were playing the heels to the max.
The real heat was palpable. You could tell there was legit animosity there, not just for the cameras. Made for compelling TV, though, I gotta admit. I was glued to every episode.

So, how long were they actually together? Well, from what I can piece together, the real-life relationship probably lasted a couple of years, maybe two and a half. The storyline went on for a while, even after the actual relationship cooled off. You know how wrestling is.
- The initial reveal was in 2005. I remember that clearly, that was the start of it all.
- The storyline with Matt Hardy dragged on for months. Like, a loooong time.
- By 2006/2007, things seemed to be winding down, both on-screen and off.
I’m pretty sure they weren’t together by the time Edge started his thing with Vickie Guerrero. That was a whole different can of worms! But yeah, the Edge and Lita thing was a big deal. A very public, very messy, very entertaining big deal.
It’s funny looking back on it now. So much drama! But hey, that’s wrestling, right? Always keeping us on the edge of our seats.
