Okay, so I’ve been trying to keep track of the Genshin Impact banners, because, you know, gotta catch ’em all! Or at least, gotta catch the ones I really, really want. It’s been a bit of a mess, honestly. I used to just scribble dates on a calendar, but then I’d lose the calendar, or spill coffee on it… disaster.

So, I thought, “There’s gotta be a better way!” I started by, you know, just Googling it. Lots of websites popped up, but they were all so… cluttered. Too much information, too many ads, my eyes just glazed over.
Then I remembered something a friend told me about making a simple spreadsheet. It was supposed to be an easy way to arrange the record. I was like no way, that’s too much for my little brain. I’m not a spreadsheet wizard! But I figured, why not give it a shot?
My Simple (But Effective!) System
I opened up a new Google Sheet (because it’s free and easy). No need to download or install anything. Then I just made a few columns:
- Character: Pretty self-explanatory, the name of the character on the banner.
- Start Date: When the banner starts.
- End Date: When the banner ends. Duh.
- Version: I add the version to remeber it clearly.
- Notes: Anything else I want to remember, like “OMG I NEED THIS CHARACTER” or “Skip, saving for later.”
I started filling it in with the information I could find from those messy websites and the official announcements. I did that part so slow just to aviod any error on my record. It took a little while, but once I got the hang of it, it was actually kind of… relaxing? Like organizing my digital sock drawer.
The best part is, now I have all the banner info in one place! I can sort it by date, so I always know what’s coming up. And I can add my own notes to remind myself of my priorities.

It’s not perfect, of course. I still have to manually update it whenever new info comes out. I have set a noticification on my phone to remind myself to update it. But it’s way better than my old system of random scribbles and forgotten dates. I even color-coded it, because why not? Green for “must-have,” yellow for “maybe,” and red for “skip.” I know, I’m a genius.
Anyway, that’s my super simple, totally-not-professional way of keeping track of the Genshin banners. It works for me! Maybe it’ll work for you, too. If you’re as disorganized as I am, give it a try! It’s surprisingly satisfying.
