Brett Whiteley，这个人哪，真有才！他画画那真叫一个厉害，画啥都能把人看愣住。尤其是他画那蓝天嘞、海嘞啥的，简直跟真的一样。可谁能想到呢，这么一个大画家，最后却是在个小旅馆里，孤孤单单地走了。 这事儿嘞，发生在1992年，那会儿他住在澳大利亚新南威尔士州海边的小镇，叫 Thirroul，离着大城市 Sydney 还挺远的。这也不是啥大城市里的豪宅，就一个小旅馆，啥都不讲究。他最后是咋走的呢？人家说，是过量服用甲苯哌啶——也就是那个methadone——这才把命给丢了。 大家都说，他那时才53岁，年纪还不算大呢。真是让人唏嘘嘞！毕竟，人一辈子总想着出人头地，不管干啥都得有个奔头，他的画也算是画到顶尖了，可谁能想到最后还是没能撑住。 这 Brett 嘞，其实小时候就很有艺术细胞。他是1939年生在 Sydney，那是澳大利亚的大城市嘞，有名的 Sydney Harbour 那片水蓝得跟画里一样。他从小喜欢画画，后来真成了画家，大家都很佩服他的作品。可是，像他这样的画家有时候生活上也挺折腾的。因为压力大，过得也不咋轻松，总是跟酒嘞、药嘞扯上关系。 人家说嘞，那天找到他的时候，旅馆的经理一推门，看到他一个人躺在床上，身边有一些药片、针头啥的，甚至还有瓶威士忌。这一下就知道出事了。可惜了，一个好端端的大画家，走到这一步，也挺让人感慨的。 其实他住的那个地方 Thirroul 是个小镇，离着 Sydney 的大海嘞、繁华啥的都远。这会儿他也算是避开了大城市的喧嚣，想清静一下吧。可是清静归清静，心里的事情有时候咋也理不顺。后来人们猜测嘞，可能他是想用药物减轻压力，结果不小心过量了，真是太可惜了。 再说回他的画作吧。Brett Whiteley 的画风很特别，有很多人都喜欢。尤其是他画的 Sydney Harbour，还有那蓝天白云啥的，叫人看着心情都好了。这些作品现在还摆在他以前在 Surry Hills 的家呢，那地方如今成了个博物馆，让人可以去看看他那些美丽的作品，也算是留下一些念想了。 人这一辈子嘞，风风雨雨、酸甜苦辣都有。有的人成了艺术家，有的人成了工人，不管干啥，总得经历各种坎坷。Brett Whiteley 也是这样，走过了一条跟别人不太一样的路，他那种对艺术的追求，还真不是谁都能做到的。不过呢，最后这一段人生旅途，总让人觉得有点遗憾嘞！ 后来，澳大利亚人都记住他了，尤其是那些喜欢艺术的人，说起 Brett Whiteley，都对他的才华佩服得不行。只可惜他最后没走稳，把自己给折腾丢了，实在是可惜嘞！他留下的那些作品，现在还挂在墙上，让人回忆起他的光辉岁月。...
