Okay, so, I’ve been diving deep into this “Ansbach questline” thing in the new Elden Ring DLC, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I figured I’d share my experience, step by step, in case anyone else is scratching their heads over it.
First off, finding this Ansbach guy was a bit of a journey itself. I started at the Main Gate Plaza, you know, the usual spot where you begin your adventure. Then I made my way up to Shadow Keep. It’s a bit of a climb, and there are a few nasty surprises along the way, but nothing too crazy.
Eventually, I got to the Storehouse, First Floor. This is where things get interesting. There’s a Site of Grace there, which is always a welcome sight. From there, I headed to the northeast part of the room. And guess what? There he was, Sir Ansbach, just chilling.
I had a little chat with him, and he gave me this letter. At first I didn’t know what it was for, it really confused me. I mean, who gives letters in a place like this? Anyway, I kept exploring, leveling up, you know, the usual grind.
Then, things started to get real intense. I was making my way to what I’m pretty sure is the final boss’s arena. That place is seriously spooky, by the way. And the game nudges you to summon Ansbach for this fight. Now, I’m not the best at these games, but I’m not a total noob either. I tried my best, honestly. Summoned old Ansbach, and we went at it.
The Final Encounter
The fight was tough, no doubt about it. I think I died, like, a dozen times? But hey, that’s part of the fun, right? Anyway, after that grueling battle, whether I won or lost, I found Ansbach again. This time, though, it was a bit of a downer. He was just there, leaning against a wall, not moving.
Yeah, he was dead. I’m not gonna lie, it was a bit of a shock. I mean, I just met the guy, and we went through this crazy battle together. It’s kind of sad, but I guess that’s just how things go in this world. But from my perspective, this is it! I finally finished this Ansbach questline.
So, that’s my story of the Ansbach questline. It was a bit of a rollercoaster, with some exploring, some fighting, and a bit of a sad ending. But hey, that’s what makes these games so memorable, right?
Anyway, I hope my little adventure log helps someone out there. If you’re stuck or just curious about what happens, hopefully, this gives you a bit of insight. And remember, don’t get too attached to these characters, it might just break your heart a little!
