Okay, so I’ve been grinding in Destiny 2 lately, trying to get my hands on the perfect Disparity. For those who don’t know, it’s an aggressive burst pulse rifle, and it can be a real beast in PvP if you get the right perks.
First off, I started hitting up all the usual spots, you know, Strikes, Crucible matches, even some Gambit. I was hoping to get lucky and have a decent roll drop naturally. I got a few Disparities, sure, but nothing to write home about. They all had some pretty meh perks.
Then, I remembered you can actually craft weapons now, and guess what? Disparity is craftable! So I dove into the crafting system. It’s a bit of a grind to level up the weapon pattern, but I was determined.
The grind was real. I spent hours farming for materials and completing those red-border weapon quests. I lost count of how many times I ran through the same activities. But I kept at it, slowly unlocking all the perks.
- For the barrel, I went with Arrowhead Brake. It helps a ton with recoil control, which is super important for those longer-range engagements.
- Next up was the magazine. I chose Tactical Mag. It gives you a little boost to stability and adds an extra burst to your shots. Every little bit helps, right?
- Now, for the main perks. This is where things get interesting. In the first column, I unlocked Rapid Hit. This perk is amazing, seriously. Each precision hit increases your reload speed and stability, making it easier to land those follow-up shots.
- And for the second column, I finally, finally got Desperado. With this one, after reloading after a precision kill, your rate of fire goes through the roof. It turns Disparity into a real shredder.
After unlocking all these, I crafted my Disparity with the desired perks. Took it out for a spin in the Crucible, and man, it felt good. Landing those headshots and watching the rate of fire ramp up was so satisfying. It felt like I had a whole new level of control over the gun.
It was a long and tedious process,
but in the end, I finally got my Disparity god roll. It’s a beast in PvP now, and I’m having a blast with it. All that grinding paid off! To be honest, I am not sure if I can repeat this process again soon. I think I need to rest for a bit from the game now.
