Okay, so today I wanted to tackle something that’s been on my to-do list for a while – figuring out the upgrade materials for Jinshi in Genshin Impact. I’ve been playing this game non-stop, and I really wanna max out my characters. Jinshi seems pretty cool, so I decided to start with him.
Getting Started
First things first, I needed to find out exactly what I needed. There are tons of resources out there, but it’s kinda overwhelming. So, I hopped onto the game and checked the character screen. Nope, that didn’t tell me much, only what I already had.
Digging Deeper
Then I started browsing some fan wikis and forums. They had some info, but it wasn’t super clear. Some said you need this, some said you need that. It was a mess! I spent like an hour just reading through all this stuff, and I still wasn’t 100% sure.
Making a List
After that I started making a list on a piece of paper with all the materials they said were necessary. I wrote down everything, even the stuff that seemed kinda iffy. Figured it’s better to have too much info than not enough, right?
- Some shiny rocks: I found out I needed a bunch of those shiny rocks.
- Weird plant things: There were also some weird plant things I needed to collect.
- Monster drops: And of course, I had to beat up some monsters to get their drops.
Gathering the Goods
Once I had my list, I started actually playing the game and collecting stuff. I marked some spots on the map where I knew those shiny rocks spawned. Then I ran around like a crazy person, picking up every plant I saw. I even fought a bunch of those annoying slimes just to get their slime condensate or whatever it’s called.
Double-Checking
After a few hours of grinding, I went back to my list and double-checked everything. Turns out, some of the stuff I collected wasn’t even needed! Oh well, at least I had extra. But I did find out that I was missing a few key items, so I had to go back out there and farm some more.
Finally Done!
Finally, after what felt like forever, I had everything I needed! I went back to the character screen, clicked on Jinshi, and started upgrading him. It was so satisfying to see his level go up and his stats improve. All that hard work paid off!
So yeah, that’s how I figured out the upgrade materials for Jinshi. It was a bit of a pain, but totally worth it in the end. Now I have a super strong Jinshi, and I’m ready to take on any challenge the game throws at me. Hope this helps someone out there who’s also trying to upgrade their characters!
