So, I was messing around with some data stuff the other day, and I got this idea to make a list of all the Royal Rumble winners. You know, that big wrestling event? Yeah, that one. I’ve always been a fan, and I figured, why not combine my techy side with my wrestling fanaticism?
I started by digging up some old records. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. I mean, the Royal Rumble has been around since, like, 1988! That’s a lot of matches and a lot of winners to track down. I spent a good chunk of time just gathering all the names and the years they won. It was a bit of a mess, honestly, jumping between different websites and old forums. Some info was clear, some… not so much.
Once I had a rough list, I decided to use a simple text editor to put everything in order. Nothing fancy, just a plain old list. I typed out each winner’s name, followed by the year they won. I did this for both the men’s and women’s matches. It was kind of cool seeing all those names in one place, like a little trip down memory lane.
After getting the basic list down, I thought it would be nice to make it a bit more organized. So, I separated the men’s winners from the women’s winners. I used a couple of unordered lists to do this. You know, those bullet point things? They’re pretty handy for this kind of stuff. It made the list look a lot cleaner and easier to read.
Men’s Royal Rumble Winners
- Wrestler 1 – 1988
- Wrestler 2 – 1989
- And so on…
Women’s Royal Rumble Winners
- Wrestler A – 2018
- Wrestler B – 2019
- And so on…
It took a while, but I finally got it all sorted. It was a fun little project. It’s not something I do every day, but it was a nice change of pace. Plus, I got to geek out about wrestling for a bit, which is always a bonus. And now I have this cool list of all the Royal Rumble winners. Maybe I’ll update it every year. Who knows?
Anyway, that’s how I spent a good chunk of my day. It wasn’t super complicated, but it was satisfying to put together. Just thought I’d share my little adventure with you all. Maybe it’ll inspire someone else to make their own list of something they’re passionate about. You never know.
