Hey fellas, what’s goin’ on? It’s your boy back at it again, and today we’re divin’ into somethin’ I’ve been messin’ around with lately – NBA 2K22, specifically the classic Warriors team.
Gettin’ Started
Alright, so first things first, I fire up the game, right? You know the drill. I’m lookin’ through the menus, tryin’ to find where they hidin’ these classic teams. After a bit of pokin’ around, I finally find ’em, buried in the “Play Now” section. Scroll down a bit, and boom, there they are – all the classic teams you could ever want.
Pickin’ the Team
Now, I’m a Warriors fan, always have been. So, naturally, I’m lookin’ for that classic squad. I see a few different versions, but I go with the 1961-62 Philadelphia Warriors. Why? ‘Cause they got Wilt Chamberlain, man! The dude was a beast, droppin’ 100 points in a game. Gotta try that out, right?
Jumpin’ into a Game
I pick a random team to go up against – let’s say the ’95-’96 Bulls, just for kicks, for each tournament. Game loads up, and I’m greeted with that classic court and those old-school uniforms. Feels like I stepped back in time, you know? And of course, there’s Wilt, standin’ tall and ready to dominate.
Gameplay Experience
Playin’ with this team is a whole different experience. These guys play old-school ball – lots of post-ups, mid-range jumpers, and fast breaks. It ain’t all about three-pointers like today’s game, although Chauncey and Rip are pretty good at carry my team, too. And let me tell you, playin’ as Wilt is just unfair. The guy’s a cheat code! Dunkin’ on everyone, grabbin’ every rebound, and blockin’ shots left and right. You can see why I was eager to level up the Seasonal rewards ladder to earn more rewards from MyTEAM cards to skill boosts.
Experimenting and Discovering
I spend hours messin’ around with this team. Tryin’ out different plays, seein’ what works and what doesn’t. I even try to recreate that 100-point game, but that’s tough, man. Still, I manage to drop some crazy numbers with Wilt. It’s just fun to go back and experience basketball history like this.I also use other classic teams to explore new features and quests.

Final Thoughts
Honestly, playin’ with classic teams in NBA 2K22 is a blast. It’s a great way to learn about the history of the game and experience how basketball used to be played. Plus, it’s just fun to dominate with legends like Wilt Chamberlain. If you’re a basketball fan, you gotta check it out. It’s a trip down memory lane, and you might even learn a thing or two.
