Okay, so I’ve been messing around with my driver lately, trying to squeeze out a few extra yards. I saw Scottie Scheffler was absolutely crushing it, and I got curious about his setup, specifically his driver shaft. So I went down a bit of a rabbit hole, and here’s what I did.

First, I started by doing some digging online. I was trying to get a confirmed answer to what shaft he’s currently using. No easy task.
The Hunt Begins
I spent a good hour just googling around, reading forum posts, and checking out equipment reviews. It felt like everyone had a slightly different opinion, or they were talking about his setup from like two years ago. It gets confusing fast!
Gathering Clues
I narrowed it down to a couple of likely candidates. I made a little list:
- Possibility one: one shaft.
- Possibility two: a different shaft.
- And so on and on…
Testing Time (Sort Of)
Now, I’m no pro, and I don’t have access to a golf simulator, a launch monitor or every shaft under the sun. So, I decided to go down a simpler route.
My “Experiment”
I’m going to keep playing, and I’ll try to keep a closer eye on my stats.

The Takeaway (For Now)
This whole thing reminded me that what works for a pro might not work for me. I will keep digging up what is his latest shaft, and take it to my local golf shop to get some feedback. It’s all about finding what feels right and gives me the best results. But it’s fun to geek out over the pro’s gear sometimes, right? Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go hit the range and try to put this information into action. Wish me luck!
