Alright, so y’all wanna hear about this fella, Scottie Scheffler, and his house? I heard some folks talkin’ about it, so I’ll tell ya what I know. Now, this ain’t no fancy talk, just plain speakin’ like it is.
Scottie Scheffler’s House, They Say He Bought It for a Pretty Penny
They tell me this Scottie fella, he’s a golfer, plays them games with the little balls and sticks. Apparently, he’s real good at it, number one in the whole wide world, or so they say. Anyways, he went and bought himself a house in Dallas, Texas. Now, Dallas, that’s a big city, lots of fancy folks and big buildin’s. This house, though, they say it ain’t too big, not like them castles you see on TV, but it still cost him a whole heap of money.
I heard someone sayin’ it was ’bout 2.1 million dollars! Can you imagine? That’s more money than I’ve seen in my whole life! They call it a “mansion,” but I reckon it’s just a big ol’ house to him. Probably got more rooms than a body knows what to do with. Five bedrooms, they say, and six bathrooms! Six bathrooms! What in the world does a fella need with six bathrooms? I guess when you got that much money, you can do whatever you please.
- Five bedrooms. That’s a lot of sleepin’ space.
- Six Bathrooms. Must take forever to clean.
- Big Backyard with a pool. Fancy stuff for sure.
That Backyard Pool, Must Be Nice in the Texas Heat
And get this, the house is supposed to be 5,000 square feet. Now, I ain’t sure how big that is, but it sounds mighty big to me. Enough room to get lost in, I reckon. And it’s got a fancy backyard too, with a pool. You know, them swimmin’ holes. Must be nice in that Texas heat, bein’ able to take a dip whenever you want. They say the whole place is worth even more now, maybe 3.2 million dollars. Land sakes, that’s a lot of dough! This young fella must be doin’ alright for himself.
He Went to College, Smart Fella, That Scottie
I heard tell he went to college down in Austin, at the University of Texas. Played them golf games there too, I guess. Won some kind of award, somethin’ ’bout bein’ a freshman of the year. Sounds like he was a bright one, that Scottie. His wife, she’s a smart one too. Went to college and got herself a degree. She even helps out them little tykes in the poor parts of Dallas, works for some kind of group that helps kids. Sounds like a good woman.
A “Humble” Lifestyle, They Say. Humble with Millions?
Some folks say he lives a “humble” life, even with all that money. Now, I don’t know ’bout that. A 2.1 million dollar house don’t sound too humble to me. But I guess it’s all relative, ain’t it? Maybe compared to them other rich folks, he ain’t so flashy. He lives in a place called Bluffview, they say it’s a nice part of town, old and charming. Sounds like a good place to raise a family, if you got the money for it, that is.
The Neighborhood, Bluffview, Sounds Fancy Too
This Bluffview neighborhood, they say it’s a historic area, convenient, got charm. Whatever that means. Sounds like a place with old houses and probably some big trees. You know, the kind of place where folks sit on their porches and wave to each other. I guess even rich folks like a bit of that small-town feel sometimes.
So that’s the story, as best as I can tell it. Scottie Scheffler, the golfer, got himself a nice house in Dallas, cost him a pretty penny, but he can afford it, bein’ a big-shot golfer and all. It’s got all the fixin’s, five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a big backyard with a pool, the whole shebang. He lives there with his wife, and they seem to be doin’ alright. Good for them, I say. Good for them.
