Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this fella, Luke, and the sticks he carries around on that fancy grass field. They call it a “witb,” which I reckon means “what’s in the bag.” Don’t ask me why they gotta use all them fancy letters, but here we go.
First off, Luke, he likes to smack that little white ball a country mile. For that, he’s got this here Titleist TSR3 driver. Nine degrees, they say. Sounds like a lot to me, but what do I know? The stick itself, it’s got a Mitsubishi Diamana DF 70 TX shaft. Sounds like a mouthful, right? Probably costs more than my whole henhouse! This here driver, it’s the one he uses to start things off, ya know, get the ball goin’ far.
Then, when he’s not tryin’ to knock the cover off the ball, he uses this here TaylorMade Stealth 3-wood. Kokrak, another fella on that grass field, uses the same kinda wood, so I guess it must be good. Folks sayin’ TM, whoever that is, pays ‘em good money to use it. Must be nice.

Now, when Luke gets closer to that little hole, he uses these iron thingamajigs. He’s got Callaway Paradym X irons, from 5 all the way to AW. I ain’t got a clue what AW means, but it must be important. These irons, they help him get the ball closer to the hole when he’s not so far away, ya see. They ain’t for whacking it a mile, but for gettin’ it close.
Then, when he’s really close, like just a hop, skip, and a jump away, he uses these wedges. Wedges, they call ‘em. He’s got a couple of Ping S159 wedges, a 50 and a 60, whatever that means. And a Callaway Jaws Raw 54-10S wedge too. These wedges, they’re for them real short shots, when the ball’s gotta go up high and then stop real quick, like when a chicken lands on a fence post. They help him get the ball close when he’s real near the green.
Them Titleist Vokey SM9 wedges, they help him get the ball real close when he’s less than a hundred yards away, so folks who know about this stuff say he can make the ball spin real good with them. Sounds fancy, huh? I bet them wedges cost a pretty penny, more than a whole pig roast, I reckon.
Speaking of them fellas, seems like this Kokrak fella and Luke, they both like these Stealth woods. Drivers and fairways woods, both of ‘em! Folks are talkin’ about some other drivers too, like them BLACK OPS… TOUR-1, 8 degrees with a Vanquish 4TX, and a Tour-1, 9 degrees. Sounds like a whole lotta choices to me, more choices than I got at the feed store!
So, that’s the lowdown on Luke’s “witb.” A bunch of fancy sticks with fancy names, costin’ more than a good used truck, I’d bet. But hey, if it helps him knock that little white ball into that little hole, I guess it’s worth it. At least, that’s what them city folk say. Me? I’d rather have a good pair of work boots and a strong hoe.
Anyways, that’s all I know about Luke’s bag of sticks. Hope it makes some sense to ya. It sure don’t to me, but then again, I ain’t never been one for hittin’ little white balls around a field all day. I got better things to do, like feedin’ the chickens and makin’ sure the cows don’t get into the cornfield.
So, if you see Luke out there on that grass field, you’ll know what he’s got in that bag of his. And if you don’t, well, now you do. And that’s all there is to it.
