Okay, so today I tried out the “Strickland Shaved” thing. It’s been buzzing around, and I figured, why not? I’m always up for trying something new with my shaving routine.

Getting Started
First, I needed to get my hands on some Strickland’s. Seemed a little hard to find in stores around me, so I ordered it. The packaging is pretty simple, nothing fancy, which is fine by me.
The Shave
I started by washing my face with warm water, you know, the usual prep. Then, I applied a bit of the shaving cream. it has a really, really thick texture.
- First Lather: I worked the cream into my beard, making sure everything was nicely coated. It felt cool and smooth, which was pleasant.
- The Razor: I used my regular razor. No need to change anything there.
- First Pass: I started shaving with the grain, like I always do. It felt… different. Super smooth, I guess.
- Rinse: I rinsed my face and applied some more.
Second Pass and Finish
I re-lathered and this time, I went against the grain for that extra-close * no tug, no irritation. It felt a bit like i was shaving the cream, not my facial hair.
Finally, I rinsed everything off with cold water and patted my face dry. No aftershave, just to see how my skin felt on its own. My skin felt… incredibly smooth. Like, really, really smooth. No redness, no bumps, nothing.

My Thoughts
Honestly, I’m impressed. I didn’t expect such a noticeable difference. It’s definitely a smoother, more comfortable shave than what I’m used to. Will I use it every day? Maybe not. But for special occasions or when I want that extra-close shave, it’s gonna be my go-to.
