Okay, so I decided to tackle this “Stone Lord” thing in Baldur’s Gate 3. I had heard some buzz about it, and it sounded like a real head-scratcher. I started with Jaheira’s quest, the “High Harper” one. It wasn’t too hard to find, honestly, just a bit of running around. I eventually found myself at this place called the Counting House in the Lower City. You can’t miss it, it’s a pretty big building. I walked up to the counter on the first floor and had a chat with the Head Clerk, a guy named Meadhoney. I asked him about some “Lord,” and he gave me some interesting info, which was enough to get me moving.
After that, things got a bit more intense. I had to fight off some of the Stone Lord’s minions. It was a decent scrap, but thankfully, the Counting House staff were there to back me up. Teamwork makes the dream work, right? After that whole mess, I had to head down into the sewers. I used the fast-travel option to get to the city sewers quickly. Once I was there, I navigated to these coordinates: X: -165, Y: 880. Just follow your map, and you’ll get there eventually.
So, it turns out that this Stone Lord, also known as Minsc, he’s a slippery one. He had escaped this trap set by someone called Nine-Fingers and just teleported away. Classic bad guy move, right? I figured I had to search the vault for clues about where he might have gone. It was a long shot, but hey, what else was I going to do? The next step was clear – I had to find the Stone Lord in the sewers. Another sewer level, great.
- First, I talked to Meadhoney at the Counting House.
- Then, I fought the Stone Lord’s minions with some help.
- After that, I navigated the sewers to a specific location.
- Finally, I realized I had to search for the Stone Lord in the sewers after he teleported away.
My objective was to “Aid the Underduke,” which I guess is some big deal in this game. So, I found out that a cultist in the Counting House had this note mentioning a hideout in the ‘Cistern.’ That sounded like a solid lead. I made my way down to the sewers again, this time with a clearer destination in mind. I had to search for the Stone Lord, and this “Cistern” place seemed like the place to start. And that’s when I find the Manhole at Bloomridge Park. I mean, the entrance is just there, hidden in plain sight, but you gotta look for it.
And there you have it. That’s how I got started with the whole Stone Lord quest in Baldur’s Gate 3. It’s been a wild ride so far, with lots of talking, fighting, and exploring. I’m still not sure where this is all going to end up, but I’m in it for the long haul now. I’ll keep you guys posted on how it goes!
Finding the Stone Lord
This is where I am now, trying to track down this Stone Lord, or Minsc, in the sewers. It’s a bit of a maze down here, but I’m determined to find him. Hopefully, this “Cistern” clue will pan out, and I’ll finally catch up to this guy. Stay tuned for more updates from the depths of Baldur’s Gate!
