Okay, so I’ve been hooked on Monopoly Go lately, like really hooked. And I saw this “Twist the Top” thing going around and thought, “Why not?” I mean, who doesn’t want extra dice rolls and cash in this game?

So, I started by just playing the game normally. You know, rolling the dice, landing on properties, collecting rent – the usual grind. I made sure I was connected to the internet, obviously. That’s kind of a no-brainer.
Then, I focused on completing those daily tasks. They’re super important for getting those little rewards that add up. I made sure to log in every day, even if it was just for a few minutes, to grab those login bonuses.
The “Twist”
Now, here’s where the “Twist the Top” part supposedly comes in. I heard about it a bit and it didn’t sound like an “official” feature. The concept as it was explained to me was that I should attempt to rotate, or, twist my device a bit while clicking on the game’s top. The “twist” is not literally twisting the top, but twisting the device, or rotating it, while interacting. The twist is not a formal part of the game, but a suggestion on how to attempt to manipulate a result.
Honestly, it felt kinda silly at first. I tapped, swiped, and, well, I’m not even sure how you are supposed to do the “Twist”. I imagine, it’s sort of tilting the device, a bit, as you spin. I was spinning the wheel of chance at the time of performing the “twist”.
I tried it a few times. Spin, and “Twist”. Spin. “Twist”. Spin. “Twist”.

Did I hit it big? Did I suddenly become a Monopoly Go master? Nope.
I kept playing, hoping maybe it was just a matter of time or luck. Still nothing huge. I’m still plugging away, collecting my properties, and trying to bankrupt my friends (in the game, of course!).
In my attempt, “Twist the top” turned out to be another one of those fun game add-ons.
