Hey, everyone, it’s your boy back with another little project I’ve been messing around with. So, I’ve been digging into this thing called Firefly, and I wanted to share my notes on how I’ve been setting up the trace priorities, because let’s be real, who doesn’t love optimizing the heck out of their setup, right?
First off, I started with the Ultimate abilities. I mean, those are the big guns, you know? I figured, the better the Speed and Break Damage bonuses during Complete Combustion, the smoother things are gonna run. So, I pumped up those Ultimate upgrades right off the bat.
Then, I moved onto the Skill upgrades. Gotta keep that Energy Regeneration and Skill damage in tip-top shape. I found that pouring some resources into those really makes a difference in how often you can pop those abilities, and obviously, more damage is always good.
After that, I focused on the Talent upgrades. Boosting Damage Reduction and Effect Resistance during Complete Combustion seemed like a no-brainer to me. It’s all about staying in the fight longer and not getting wrecked by debuffs, am I right?
Now, let’s talk stats. I aimed for 140/150 SPD, ’cause you need that 150 SPD when Firefly isn’t in Combustion state. It’s a bit of a juggling act, but I managed to hit that sweet spot. Then there’s ATK. I realized Firefly has a bit of a low base ATK, so even with an ATK% body and orb, I was struggling to get past 3,000. Most of the time, I ended up with around 2,500 to 3,000 ATK, which seems to be the norm for most folks.
Here’s a tip, for both Firefly’s Enhanced Skill and Bonus Ability “Module β: Autoreactive Armor”, she needs a whopping 360% Break Effect to max out the bonuses. I know, it sounds like a lot, but trust me, it’s worth it.
I also tinkered with support traces. Like, I leveled Gallagher’s debuff for break damage to 9, aiming for 10, ’cause who doesn’t want more damage? And Ruan Mei’s talent? Maxed that out at 10 for that sweet speed boost. My HMC? Oh, it’s at 10, 10, 10, and yeah, I got it to E3. Gotta love those extra boosts.
I heard some people talking about light cones, and I gotta say, Clara’s LC seemed like a better fit than Flames Afar. At least with Clara’s, you get some of that ATK to BE conversion, plus it’s a 5-star cone, so better base stats, you know? I saw someone using Fall of an Aeon, so I might give that a shot too.
Oh, and Firefly can throw Fire weakness on enemies with her Technique, which is pretty sick since it hits all enemies in each wave. And with the enhanced Skill? Chef’s kiss, man.
- Max out those Ultimates first for Speed and Break Damage.
- Upgrade Skills next for Energy Regen and extra damage.
- Then, boost Talents for better Damage Reduction and Effect Resistance.
- Shoot for 140/150 SPD and at least 2,500 ATK.
- Get that Break Effect to 360% to fully utilize Enhanced Skill and Bonus Ability.
So yeah, that’s pretty much my journey with Firefly’s trace priorities. It’s been a grind, but a fun one. I wanted to maximize everything, ’cause why not, right? This is just my way of doing things, and I’m sure there are other ways to go about it, but hey, that’s the fun of experimenting and finding what works best for you.
Anyways, I hope these ramblings help someone out there. Keep on optimizing, and I’ll catch you all in the next one!
