Mercy ain’t just about basketball, though. I heard they got a whole lotta other sports too. Baseball, soccer, lacrosse… all them teams are busy doin’ their thing. And the best part is, Mercy University’s been gettin’ awards for their academics too! That’s right. I reckon them gals can hit the books just as hard as they hit the court. They got the NCAA Division II Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence two years in a row. That’s somethin’ to be proud of, I tell ya. Shows that it’s not just about sports; they’re out there makin’ sure their heads are just as sharp as their skills on the court.
Now, back to them basketball gals. The season’s still young, and there’s a lotta games ahead. But with the way they’ve been playin’, there’s no doubt in my mind they’ll be bringin’ some big wins. The crowd’s excited, the coach is proud, and I reckon the whole town’s behind ‘em. They’ve got the spirit, they’ve got the drive, and they sure do know how to make a game exciting. It don’t matter who they’re up against, when them Mercy women step out on that court, you know it’s gonna be a show.
So, here’s hopin’ they keep that winning streak alive. Ain’t no stoppin’ them now. Just keep playin’ hard, keep playin’ smart, and who knows? They might just take it all the way this year.
