Alright, so I was messing around in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth the other day, you know, just doing stuff, and this photo mission popped up. The theme? Suffering. Yeah, seriously. Sounded a bit grim, wasn’t sure exactly what they wanted me to capture.

Finding the Right Vibe
First thing, I had to figure out who or what looks like they’re suffering. My mind went to maybe finding some beat-up enemies or a gloomy spot on the map. Or maybe one of the main characters? Could Aerith look sad enough? Or Tifa?
I decided to try using Red XIII. He’s got that serious look, you know? Plus, I remembered reading somewhere he has different poses. So I picked him, put him in my party, and wandered around looking for a decent backdrop. Didn’t need anything too fancy, just maybe somewhere that didn’t look super cheerful.
Getting the Shot
Okay, found a spot that felt kinda somber. Then I went into photo mode. This is where the real fun started. I started playing with the camera angles. The game actually tells you if your photo fits the theme or not, which is handy, ’cause my first few attempts were way off.
I tried zooming in, zooming out. Then I messed with Red’s poses. There’s one where he kinda clenches his paw, like he’s making a fist. That felt like it could work for “suffering” or maybe “struggling.” I tried centering the shot right on him, focusing on that pose. Took a picture. Game said no. Ugh.
Moved the camera a bit, tried a slightly lower angle. Made sure he was centered properly, zoomed in just enough to get that determined, maybe pained look with the clenched fist. Took another shot.

Success! The game finally flashed the message that it fit the “suffering” theme. Phew. It wasn’t anything super dramatic, just Red XIII looking intense against a plain background, but that clenched paw pose was the key, I guess. Took way more tries than I expected for just one photo.
Anyway, mission accomplished. Still got a long way to go to hit that level 70 cap, though. This game keeps you busy.
