Okay, so let’s talk about this Dodgers All-Star hat for 2024. It feels like every year, around this time, the buzz starts for the All-Star gear, and being a Dodgers fan, you know I keep an eye out.

Getting Started
I first saw some pics floating around online, maybe early leaks, maybe official promo shots, I don’t quite remember. But the design caught my eye. It looked pretty clean, different from last year’s vibe. I decided pretty quickly, yeah, I think I want this one. My old Dodgers cap is getting a bit worn, anyway.
The Hunt
So, the hunt began. First place I checked, like always, was the official MLB online shop. Found it pretty easily. Looked at the pictures again, zoomed in on the All-Star patch on the side. Looked good. They had the fitted ones, the 59FIFTY, which is usually my go-to. Also saw the adjustable and the low-profile versions.
I almost pulled the trigger right then online, but I hesitated. Sometimes pictures online don’t really show you the real color or how the material feels. Plus, shipping costs and waiting time, you know? I thought, maybe I can find it locally.
Checked a couple of the big sports apparel sites too, Fanatics and places like that. Same deal, available online. But I really wanted to see it in person if I could.
Finding It In Person
Over the weekend, I had to run some errands near a mall that has a Lids store. Perfect opportunity. Went in there, looked around the cap walls. Found the MLB section, then scanned for the Dodgers blue. And there it was! They had a decent little stack of them.

Here’s the thing: seeing it in person really sealed the deal. The blue seemed just right, not too dark, not too bright. The All-Star Game patch on the side had this nice embroidered texture. I picked up my usual size, 7 1/2, and tried it on right there in the store.
- The fit felt standard New Era, which is good. Consistent.
- Material felt maybe a little lighter than some older caps I have, but still sturdy.
- The overall look was just clean. Sometimes they overdo the All-Star designs, but this one felt classic with a bit of flair.
Didn’t even hesitate this time. Took it straight to the counter. The guy working there even commented, “Nice choice, these just came in, been popular.” Made me feel good about the grab.
Final Thoughts
Got home, took the stickers off carefully – you know the ritual. Put it on again. Yeah, happy with this one. It’s always cool to get the gear for the current season, especially the All-Star stuff. Feels like you’re part of the excitement.
So yeah, that was my little adventure getting the 2024 Dodgers All-Star hat. Didn’t require climbing any mountains, but it was a successful mission. Now I just need to make sure I don’t get it dirty too fast. It’s definitely going to be in rotation for game days.
