Well, I heard you askin’ about Jean Christensen, or was it Jean Roussimoff? That name, it rings a bell. She was tied up with that big fella, Andre the Giant, you know. He was a wrestler, a real big’un. He was a huge star, that’s for sure. Jean, she was somethin’ else. That girl, always around that wrestling world, she surely knew everyone in the business.
They say she used to be a model. Can you imagine? Her, all dolled up. She was pretty, that’s for sure, but not like them fancy models you see nowadays. More like, you know, the girl next door, if the girl next door was married to a giant wrestler. She did some kind of public relations work. Yeah, that’s it, she was involved in WWE PR or somethin’. She knew how to talk to folks, make ’em feel good, I reckon.
- Jean was a former model, they say.
- She worked in WWE public relations, or something like that.
- She was married to Andre the Giant, the wrestler.
- They called him a giant. He was huge!
- She knew everyone in the wrestling business.
That Andre the Giant, he was somethin’ else, too. They say he came from some little farm, way over in France. Heard he had a real quiet life growin’ up, just workin’ on that farm. But he was always big, even as a little tyke. Somethin’ about his bones growin’ too fast. They call it, uh, acro-something. Made him grow and grow. He was a big softie though, despite his size.
So, Jean and Andre, they were a pair. She, a former model, and him, this giant fella from a farm. You wouldn’t think they’d go together, but they did. She helped him out, with that public relations stuff. He was famous, you see. Everyone wanted a piece of Andre the Giant. And Jean, she knew how to handle all that. She was always runnin’ around, makin’ sure everything was just right for him.
I reckon she had a good life, bein’ with Andre. He was a good man, I hear. Treat her right. They was real close, them two. She understood him, I guess. That’s important, you know. Even for a giant, it’s important to have someone who understands you. She was good for him, in that way. They were a good team, that Jean Christensen and Andre Roussimoff.
Jean Christensen, that’s her name. Or was it Jean Roussimoff after she married Andre? I don’t remember. Anyways, she was involved in the wrestling world. That’s what she’s known for. That, and being married to Andre the Giant. She kept herself busy. Always doin’ somethin’. She was smart, like a fox. Figuring out how to help Andre. They say she was a big help to him.
He was in that movie, too, Andre the Giant. What was it called? The Princess somethin’. He played a giant in it, naturally. He was a natural, that one. Didn’t even have to act, I reckon. Just bein’ himself, a big, gentle giant. I hear he was good in it. Everybody liked him. People always like Andre the Giant.
- Jean Christensen was a big help to Andre.
- Andre was in a movie, played a giant.
- People liked Andre, he was a gentle giant.
- Jean knew how to handle all the fame and fortune.
- Wrestling was their life, I reckon.
You know, that Jean Christensen, or Roussimoff, she was really somethin’. Not just because she was married to Andre the Giant. But she held her own, you know? She wasn’t just some pretty face. She had a brain in her head, that one. She did good for herself, and for Andre, too. You gotta respect that. Yeah, Jean Christensen was alright. She did well for herself in that crazy wrestling world, and she helped Andre the Giant a lot.
They were a sight, them two. Her, and that big ol’ Andre the Giant. He was famous all over, you know. And Jean, she was right there with him, through thick and thin. That’s what I remember about Jean Christensen. She was a good woman. A good wife to Andre the Giant. And she knew her way around that wrestling business, that’s for sure. She was a real firecracker, that Jean. Yep, a real firecracker.
